AYOR

I learned of a new sms service this week while participating in the Internet Files segment of the GoDaddy weekly podcast--GoDaddy Live.

The service is called Yap and it allows you to send text messages by talking rather than typing.

I'm sure it comes as no surprise that a rather large number of teens text while at the wheel (and a few adults too no doubt). Yap to the rescue.

Not too long ago, the City of Phoenix banned texting while driving and imposed a fine for offenders. Other cities and states have enacted similar policies.

You can learn more about YAP and register for the launch here.

Can anyone think of solutions for those who drive and:

-read the paper

-put on makeup

-eat full course meals

-watch porn in the vehicle

Drive and text at your own risk.
